Generally, micro manufactured plastic parts can have intricate features that are virtually invisible without magnification. Some micro components measure as small as 0.01 inches (0.254 mm) in diameter and have to hold to tight tolerances of ±0.0005 inches (12.7 µm) and sometimes tighter.
