Designers and engineers know Torlon as a high performance thermoplastic material known for its exceptional mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties. As it belongs to the family of polyamide-imides, the chemical structure of the resin consists of alternating amide and imide groups that create an incredible molecular bond and outstanding performance in extreme conditions.

It offers high impact and compressive strength with chemical resistance and heat resistance up to 500° F. Torlon plastic parts are popular throughout the aerospace, medical, electrical, and meta-processing industries.
