Manufacturing custom plastic components for research lab fluidics and diagnostic fluidic systems can prove daunting. Systems need to handle harsh environments ranging from caustic chemicals to sterilizing heat temperatures while maintaining at times complex internal geometries. Moreover, these internal channels require extensive knowledge and skill to create a custom flow path design that can contain sub-millimeter channels.

For tools like "lab on a chip" or those used in microfluidics, these need a manufacturer that can provide custom fluid routing solutions with intense precision many either will not or cannot accommodate. Controlled Fluidics has the team and the knowledge to make it happen. We can accommodate tolerances down to ± 125 μ (0.005 in) and sometimes tighter depending on the feature. We also work with 30+ types of plastic including exotic plastics like Vespel.
